Some institutions offer mid-point grades for students in the middle of the term, and as of spring 2021 Stellic supports displaying this information. If your institution is supplying this information to Stellic, it will display once mid-term grades are available. (As a note of clarification, mid-term grades in this article refer to course-level grades provided in the middle of the academic term.)
To search for students with mid-term grades, select the "Taken" button from the filters available on the student search screen. Under the term option, click the dropdown menu to select the current term's "Mid-term grade options". Please note that this option is only displayed once these grades are available, and will no longer be displayed once the current term has ended.
From here, add additional filters to narrow down search results. Common use cases include specific grades, student demographics, or any other filters that you typically use. In the example below, after selecting mid-semester grade from the "Taken" button semester, we used the "Demographics" button to search for "Freshman", and then selected a grade of "F" from the "Taken" button. This search shows us the 23 first-year students that have received an "F" as a mid-term grade.
From here you can save these filters as a report, message these students, or export the student results if desired. Currently, the mid-term grade is not able to be exported within results.
