This article specifically addresses how to manually change a student's audit version. It is possible instead to manage a student's audit version only through the feed, meaning that any changes to the audit version will only be managed through data sent to Stellic
Changing a student's audit version means that you are changing the specific audit associated with a student's program. In other words, if a student has a Biology major declared, and the audit assigned to the student is based on their entry year 2021, changing the audit version means that you can override the specific Biology audit assigned by Stellic to a different version, like the 2019 Biology audit.
Changing a student's audit version is only able to be done by admins with the change_audit permission. This permission is not attached to other permissions, meaning that it can't be inherited through other permissions and must be explicitly assigned. If you are missing this permission and believe you should have it, please contact your institution's Stellic administrator.
To change a student's audit version, go to the student's profile and view the program audit that you would like to change. Click on the 3-dot menu next to the title of the program. If you do not see the option to "Change Audit Version", it means that you are missing the necessary permission to perform this action - please talk to your institution's Stellic administrator for assistance.
Clicking on "Change Audit Version" brings up a menu where you can select any published audit version for this program, or choose to remove the program audit entirely and not select a replacement.
