Display CGPA in Remaining Requirement Report: The cumulative GPA will now show up as a separate column in the remaining requirement report. In the event that CGPA isn't available it will show as “Not Available”. |
In Audit Analytics, add the full course name as hover text over the course numbers: In Audit Analytics, only the course ID shows - we now show the full course title when hovering over the course ID. |
Add Campus in Audit Analytics Search Bar: While searching for programs in Audit Analytics, we now display campus information with the program name. For institutions with multiple campuses, this alleviates confusion when programs differ between campuses. |
Resolved display issue with Manually Satisfy constraint: The search results list was displaying one more time after selecting the constraint. We have resolved this issue so that the constraint stops reappearing. |
Add student's first and last name to email notifications: An advisor shared an email that they recently received from a Stellic notification and said that it would be helpful to include the student’s full name so that they can tell at a glance who the message is from. Previously, Stellic only displayed students' first names in email notifications. |
Show more than one term in student's sidebar (current and next term): Similar to how students have two schedules in their side navigation in UDEM, we will now have it across all instances if their upcoming term's schedule has been released. |
Support search for "any" and "all" in a multiple attribute course search: We now provide options to match 'all' attributes or 'any' attributes for searching courses with multiple attributes. This will be shown wherever we have the option to search courses by attributes- courses tab and courses search sidebar.

Reverse functionality of one-way course equivalents in the audit: After discussion with many partners and many case studies, we recognized that the way the audit was handling one-way course equivalents (courses where course A has course B listed as an equivalent, but course B does not list course A) incorrectly. Example:

List campus along with program name: Several institutions have the same program on multiple campuses, making it hard to distinguish the program without additional information. We've added campus information anywhere that the program is listed to improve accuracy of determining which program you're looking at. |
Only show officially registered units in the student profile: Previously, Stellic displayed planned courses along with registered courses in the student's profile view (the . Additionally, if a student removed a course from their plan (even if it was still registered), it would also reflect in the profile. Stellic now only displays officially registered courses in the student's profile. |
Changed name of filter in 'Performance' search to "specific Universal Requirement" Previously, under the Performance search filter in student search, there was an option that let you search for “requirement GPA”. Since this dropdown option only lets you search for a universal requirement, but we also do have requirement GPAs, we specified that this search is for universal requirements. |
Use semicolons instead of commas to separate courses/topics in the audit: To allow for easier reading of the audit when multiple courses or topics are listed in a constraint, Stellic now uses semicolons to separate courses/topics. |
Disable student ability to fully disable notifications: Students can no longer opt out of Stellic notifications. They can opt to receive either instant or daily digests. |
Display start/end date of course section specific offerings: For courses that have variable start/end dates between sections, Stellic now displays the specific dates of those sections.
Dropdown to toggle between 5-Day or 7-Day schedule view: There is a dropdown added at the top right corner of the calendar in scheduler with the default value as 5-Day. Users can change it to a 7-Day view. |

Allowing Users to Edit Activities and Notes in Pathways: Users who have permission to create activities in student plan or pathways can also edit them now. Similarly, a note created on any course, slot or activity is editable. |
Create an open-ended constraint that doesn't have a limit: The at least [x] constraint picks x courses and allows more courses to count only if needed by some other constraint. A new constraint was requested where as many available courses could count. |
'Show More' Option for Multiple Sections:The courses in schedule view with more than 5 sections will not display all sections at once. The registered section will appear on the top and there will be a 'show more' option to render the next available sections. Similarly, the data for a section will only show timings and instructor-the user will have the option to view the meta data for the section by clicking on the '(show more)' inside the section card. |
Displaying User's Initials Fix: Previously, users with multiple first names had an incorrect display for their initials. We have corrected the display. |
Display an alert on archive students' accounts: For students that have been archived, an alert bar has been added to the top of the screen stating that their account may not be up to date. (Students are archived once the institution stops sending data to Stellic - there may be updated information that Stellic has not received.) |
Allow users to edit activities and notes in Pathways: Users who have permission to create activities in student plan or pathways can also edit them now. Similarly, a note created on any course, slot or activity is editable. |
Exception to Exclude Courses: Previously our exception framework only supported adding courses to the pool of courses that can count towards satisfying a requirement. This is a new exception to exclude courses from a requirement where those courses might be eligible but in a specific case shouldn’t count, for whatever reason. |
Constraint to waive requirement: There is a new constraint that will waive a requirement for students with a particular tag: "The requirement is waived for students with any of these tags: [x]". |

Pathways Without Associated Programs:Functionality for Pathways used to be limited to creating them based on a program, but now users have the ability to create a Pathway independent of a program! This type of Pathway can be manually applied to students. A new permission type has been created in order to give users the appropriate access to create/edit/publish/view these types of Pathways. |
New “data last refreshed” field in Stellic left sidebar: Stellic’s sidebar now shows last updated timestamp for partners to know about the time of the data update. Particularly for partners that are not using real-time integration, this gives greater clarity around how updated the data is. |
Updated audit behavior for "dangling" courses: Previously, if a course was satisfying a parent requirement but could count for one of the requirements beneath it (a "child" requirement), it would show underneath the parent requirement. This often caused confusion because the course would often appear out of place, sometimes referred to as a "dangling" course.
Exclude Courses from the criteria of the "at most [x] grade" constraint: We now support excluding specific courses from the criteria of the at most grade constraint. This means that the courses specified will not be applied toward the "at most" limit.
Enable multiple at most grade constraints: You can now add multiple constraints that dictate "at most courses/credits with [x] grade(s)" in an audit requirement. Previously, you could not use this constraint more than once in a requirement. |
"At most" constraint is usable without a course set: Previously, the "at most" constraint required a course set to define a criteria. You can now use this constraint without specifying a course set, which enforces the "at most" criteria for the entire requirement. |
Default sort of students in the search page has been changed to sort by last name: The list of students that appear when you view the "Students" tab will be sorted by the students' last names by default. 'Relevance' is no longer a sort option. |
Change language to indicate that the cumulative GPA constraint is "greater than or equal to": The constraint "Must maintain CGPA above [x]" has been changed to "Must maintain CGPA of at least [x]". This provides greater clarity around the constraint's requirement allowing for the GPA listed is also counted in the constraint. |
Admins can change the name of a Shared Requirement: Any admins with permission to edit and publish a shared requirement can also change its name. |
Sort requirements that appear within an audit constraint in alphabetical order: Previously, when there were multiple course codes, topics, course tags, and/or attributes listed within one audit constraint, the order they appeared in was inconsistent. This has been updated so that they will appear in alpha-numeric order. |
Order Tentative List Requirements, Courses, and Activities: In the Tentative List (located in the side-by-side view of the Planner), remaining requirements are now ordered alphabetically by requirement names, activities are ordered by activity name and courses are ordered by course code. |
"One or More Exceptions Made" changed to "Any Direct Exception(s) Made": We updated the language of the filter used to search for exceptions on students' audits (located within the "Taken" button in the student search) from "One or More Exceptions Made" to "Any Direct Exception(s) Made". This adds additional clarity for institutions that also use the exception request workflow, as this particular filter searches for exceptions made on student audits directly, without going through an approval process.
Tag changed from 'Undeclared' to 'Not Declared' for "Unofficial" Programs: When students add programs to their plan that are not declared (as in, not declared within the SIS), previously there would be a tag next to the program that said the program was "Undeclared". That text has been updated to "Not Declared". |
Show Future Semesters in Semester Filter in Student Analytics: The dropdown will now show future semesters as options in order to run student analytics. |
